Saskatchewan More Than Just Wheat
Alan Withey, VP of finance and CFO of Ironhorse Oil and Gas has found his solution to Alberta's royalty review. His company is continuing to find huge success in Saskatchewan Canada. Good growth prospects have allowed Withey to go from 32 wells and 20 barrels a day to 180 wells and close to 1000 barrels a day in a few short years.

Every three or four years I do travel by car around Estevan, Stoughton, Weyburn, Forget in south-east Saskatchewan. During my last trip in July 2007 I could not believe the change in that area. New roads, new derricks, new cars, new trucks and also so much more activity on the roads, and much more optimism and money. A very drastic change from my previous trip. Even in a little town like Forget someone was building a new home on what was "Main" street. This town has been "dead" since the 1950's
when I was 10 years old. Saskatchewan is now booming again and our family "oil rights" in that area will finally generate good returns with a world price for crude oil at around US$102.00
