Fort St. John’s has been identified as one of the top three areas in Canada for starting small businesses, according to Andy Ackerman, President of the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce. Ackerman says there are numerous business opportunities in Fort St. John, from the oil and gas service sector to the restaurant industry. Opportunities are also present in Dawson Creek, Fort Lenlson, and Fort Nelson.
