The city of Fort St. John, located in the Peace Region of northeastern British Columbia, has developed and grown thanks to a booming energy industry. Over the past several years, the area has experienced record setting exploration and production activity with much of the region’s natural gas deposits—which are estimated among the largest in North America—still untapped.
