Gulf of Mexico Rigs all Over the Map
The Gulf of Mexico's shallow and deep water oil and gas production is at an all-time high says David Marin, resource evaluation supervisor of MMS and GOM. After rigging operations suffered set backs due to hurricanes, there are now more leases than there are rigs. Marin is optimistic that with the development of a sub-sea pumping system and the Atlantis project, production in the Gulf can continue to escalate.
