Cavernous Gas

With Saskatchewan’s population and industry booming, there’s more pressure on the provinces’ resources to meet energy demands. In order to cater to this demand, TransGas is making use of Saskatchewan’s geography, storing natural gas in underground salt caverns during the peak winter months. TransGas’ VP of Operations and Engineering, Phil Sandham explains.
