Pivotal Partnerships

The Canadian Oilsands Trust is a joint venture partnership with Syncrude Canada. It's an active player in Alberta’s oilsands region and recently completed its major stage three expansion. The trust is already planning the next phase of another 10 per cent to 20 per cent growth. A new management agreement with Imperial/Exxon Mobil has provided operational skills and much more, according to president and chief executive officer, Marcel Coutu.
