Global inquiries are flowing in as Calgary-based Cemblend Systems Inc. has created a cement blend that is impermeable, environmentally friendly and cost efficient. President of the company, Don Getzlaf explains two different chemicals come together and react to form an impermeable rock type material. This material also contains fertilizers and is said to be 30 per cent to 40 per cent of the cost of conventional rig and cement squeeze.
