Billion Dollar Upgrades

Evan Bahry, Executive Director of the IPPSA (Independent Power Producers Society of Alberta), says that Alberta’s electrical transmission system needs 3.5 billion dollars worth of upgrades. Bahry reveals a staggering difference in numbers between Alberta and Ontario’s electrical systems. He also mentions some of the challenges of putting up transmission lines.
