Gulf Of Mexico on Sale

The United States currently receives a total of approximately 35 % of their energy resources from the Gulf of Mexico area. To keep up with demand, they lease off areas to private companies eager to develop offshore. Lars Herbst and Randall Luthi work with the Minerals Management service who is in charge of handling the auction of leases, both speak with Energy-TV about the success of the sale.
